Khaula Chaudhry, DMD, has wanted to be a dentist since she was 14 years old. She was inspired to pursue her dreams by watching her parents and two older siblings work hard to achieve the American dream.
“I became a general dentist because I love to do it all,” Dr. Chaudhry says. “Becoming a specialist in one area was possible, but I couldn’t see myself only practicing one area of dentistry. I find enjoyment in restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.”
She earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Temple University and started practicing in Philadelphia. She moved to Michigan after marrying Adil Kazi, a Troy, Michigan native.
The couple lived in Saginaw for a brief time while Dr. Chaudhry-Kazi worked at a Saginaw, Michigan, dental office that was voted best of the best for 14 consecutive years. While working in Philadelphia and Saginaw, Dr. Chaudhry discovered a love of treating multiple generations in one family. She is especially interested in working with children to set them on a road to a lifetime of good oral health.
After the birth of their first child, the couple felt called to return to Troy to raise their newborn near family. Here, with the help of her husband and family, Dr. Chaudhry has made her dream of owning her own dental practice come true. She is excited to serve her community with the best value and highest quality dental care possible.
Dr. Chaudhry comes from a large and close family, and with that background, she sees the importance of building strong relationships with her patients. She cares for patients as if they were members of her own family.
